Plan Your Gift to Animals

Join SPCA Namibia's Legacy by helping animals for years to come.

Bequest from your Will

Including the SPCA Namibia in your will or trust is a meaningful way to help us continue to serve animals in need. Many of our programs and services have benefitted from individuals who had the foresight to include the SPCA Namibia and our Branches in their estate plans.

Charitable Remainder Trust

A Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT) is a life-income arrangement that provides you and/or other beneficiaries with a stream of income for life or for a period of years. After the trust terminates, the principal, or “remainder interest,” could go to select beneficiaries of which the SPCA could be one of them. Unlike other life-income arrangements, CRTs are separately invested and managed trusts. Please note that the SPCA does not manage these trusts for donors.

Life Insurance

Life insurance is often overlooked as an asset that you can use to make gifts to the SPCA. It is relatively simple to make a change to the beneficiary/ beneficiaries of your insurance policy without changing your will or other aspects of your estate plan. Just ask your insurance company for a form that will allow you to make the SPCA a beneficiary of your insurance policy.

Already Included Us?

If you have already included the SPCA in a bequest or other planned gift, we hope you will let us know.

We acknowledge and respect those who wish to remain anonymous, but we kindly ask you to let us know of your plans on a confidential basis, as it allows the SPCA and our branches to plan for the future.
